Fabulous with seafood, we last tried this wine with moules mariniere and seafood linguini, and it was devine! Easy drinking and pairs well with fish, seafood, shellfish, salads, white meats and light sauces.

Now in the fourth generation of the same family, Claude Branger of Domaine la Haute Fèvrie produces a range of white wines from vines grown on the hills overlooking the Sèvre, between Saint-Flacre and Monnières.
‘Sur lie’ refers to the method of creating this wine. After the fermentation process the wine is allowed a period to rest on its lees (the spent yeast) and this allows it to develop more complex and pronounced flavours.
